The oil never gets hot.
A candle burns the fragrance it's meant to release. A reed diffuser lets it evaporate at whatever rate the room decides. Ours breaks the oil into a cold mist by vibration, so it leaves the tank whole.
Heat changes a scent. So we removed it.
Warm an oil past a certain point and the top notes scorch off, which shifts everything sitting underneath them. Our diffuser never gets warm. Vibration alone breaks the oil into a fine spray, so what reaches you is the oil and nothing else.
Water & oil
Fill the tank and add a few drops of Loby oil. There's no carrier, no filter and no cotton pad to replace.
Ultrasonic plate
A ceramic disc vibrates about 2.4 million times a second, shearing the surface into a cool micro-spray.
Even micro-mist
A dry, weightless mist drifts out at room temperature, carrying the scent exactly as it left the bottle.

Small enough to forget.
A smoked-glass shade over a matte base, with one button that does everything and a warm light you can dim as low as you like. It runs off USB-C and it's quiet enough that you stop noticing it. At 9.5 cm square and 15 cm tall, it sits on a nightstand without taking the nightstand over.
See how quiet it really is.
